| My name is Alan and I am 52 and a self employed landscaper. I took up photography in November 2007 after a break of some 30 years, how it has changed in that time. Ater buying my camera (canon 40d)for my 50th birthday present, I had to buy a computer to download my photos, new camera and computer = big learning curve. I specialise in wildlife photography which I find very challenging and rewarding. I live in fordingbridge, Hampshire, South of England, on the edge of the new forest. We have a great diversity of habitats eg. downland,heathland, woodland, water meadows,lakes, rivers coastal cliffs and salt marshes in a relatively small area (20mile radious) so it is very good for wildlife. |
